Welcome to the latest edition of Ribbon’s Release Roundup. Back-to-school season always evokes notions of getting back to reality and productivity - luckily Ribbon’s tech team has already been working hard on new platform features and enhancements, so you can hit the ground running.

Directory Viewer

Directory Viewer is a visual representation of Ribbon’s provider endpoint, allowing users to view, filter, and download Ribbon data without calling an API. You can now interact with data without the API or building a UI, easily analyze data as a whole, and download data on your own without Ribbon support.

Licenses and Sanctions Data

Via our new partnership with Baton Health, provider Licenses and Sanctions data is now available within the Ribbon platform. Understanding which providers have active licenses and no board sanctions is a critical input for many use cases, like referring patients to the best possible care or building high-quality networks that comply with regulatory standards.

What stands out:

• Full coverage of MD’s, DOs, PAs and coverage for non-physicians
• Inclusion of pending sanctions
• Data is updated every ~2 weeks for an updated view
